Admissions

Admissions at Y.A.L.E. School is a thoughtful and thorough process.

We strive for a clear understanding of the academic, social, and emotional needs of each individual, helping us identify the learning environment that would most benefit the student. Similarly, we want parents and districts to feel informed about our schools and the students who attend them. We also engage students in the process as much as possible knowing that the placement in a new school directly impacts them.

Keep in mind we will always get to know your student as a unique individual when the actual discovery process begins and before our admissions team makes a placement recommendation.

Campus Tours

Y.A.L.E. School welcomes collaboration with sending school districts and parents. It is our policy to discuss all requests for tours received from parents with the sending school district. Y.A.L.E. School offers parent tours, or virtual tours, for Pennsylvania residents only after discussing with the sending school district.

Y.A.L.E. School will offer a potential student a visit only after our admission liaison has received appropriate referral records from the sending school district. Formal acceptance will take place only after a comprehensive review of the student’s most recent IEP or 504 plan and/or student records and notification to the home district.
