Last year’s Tri-State DisAbility Art Show was so successful that plans are now in motion for the 2nd Annual Tri-State DisAbility Art Show Live! We are sharing this good news early in the year to be sure that art educators in public and private schools in New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Delaware have ample time to prepare their artists – at every level of ability- to participate in the event.
The 2nd Annual Tri-State DisAbility Art Show Live! is scheduled for the evening of April 29, 2022 at Y.A.L.E. School’s Ellisburg Campus in Cherry Hill, New Jersey. Last spring’s inaugural event was held virtually and featured over 100 participants representing 18 public and private schools throughout the Delaware Valley. This spring’s in-person event will provide an even more rewarding experience for students and families, offering them a chance to physically experience the thrill of strolling through an art exhibit featuring the creative works of students. Any K-12 child with an IEP or 504 plan in NJ, PA or DE is encouraged to submit their artwork for display. All contributions will be included in the show and no entry fee is required.
The Tri-State DisAbility Art Show was established to unite students with disabilities from across the region and enable them to contribute to a growing community that recognizes artistic self-expression as a springboard for awareness, dignity and respect. We look forward to working together with you this year to offer a unique and rewarding art experience for these talented student-artists, their families and their schools. To inspire and encourage your students, we invite them to tour last year’s event, the 2021 Tri-State DisAbility Art Show.
